Froggy Tots Digital Thermometer

With 2 kids and another on the way, I was looking for a thermometer that worked in a variety of ways, with a quick and accurate read out. The Froggy Tots Digital Baby Thermometer is a home run in all those departments!

First of all, while its still a minor struggle to take the kids temperatures (because they hate it), it’s a little more bearable because they think the frog is cute. So it’s something to look at and joke around about the Froggy in your arm pit or Froggy in your mouth. Speaking of which, this thermometer takes quick and accurate readings within 15 seconds via under tongue, under the armpit or rectally. The display is easy to read. The tip is flexible, which is great and it’s waterproof. It does have an auto shut off but I’ll be honest, it’s easier for me just to hit the button to turn it off. There are 2 more awesome features- the fever alarm and memory recall. The memory recall is great if you forget what the last temperature you took was. The fever alarm is great because it lets you know if there’s a Lo or high grade fever.

The little cover is nice as it covers the whole top, including the button so it’s difficult for little hands to grab and poke and whatnot. The battery is hidden in the frog. You have to remove the top part of the frog to see the battery and then use a pencil tip or something small to pick the battery out. It’s semi easy for an adult to open but difficult enough for a kid to not be able to open it easily. Or at all. This is a great thermometer. I now know a great baby shower gift for my friends having babies!
